Swagger
Sports Performance Strength and Conditioning Training Program is just
that, a TRAINING PROGRAM. Every athlete should have a training
program that has a plan, purpose, intensity and a goal. Your goals,
as an athlete, should relate to the fundamental needs of your sport and
not necessarily to your physical make-up.
Athletes
need to be trained based on the sports they participate in and a solid
conditioning program should not be developed with randomly chosen
exercises. For example: A basketball player may run 2.5 miles
during the course of a game but long distance running will not
prepare them for a game. During a basketball game, an individual
player will change direction every two seconds, adding up to 1,000
different movements over the course of a game. Almost 1/3 of a
basketball game is devoted to lateral movement, with each shuffle lasting
between one and four seconds. However, only 41 seconds of a game is
devoted to jumping. By examining the "little things"
associated with the sport, we can learn how to condition our bodies for
optimum performance!
Swagger
Sports Performance Strength and Conditioning Training Program is about
development. Training the body how to produce maximal force in
minimal time, training movements to strengthen the body, and building
strength in the muscles that accelerate and decelerate movements are some
of the fundamental components that are part of the foundation of the
Swagger program. We break conditioning down into four
segments: off-season, pre-season, in-season and post-season, with
each segment focusing on the training and goals needed for that time
period.
Other
benefits include minimizing the risk of injury, and if any injury does
occur, decreasing the amount of recovery time needed to get back on the
field or court. Swagger Sports Performance Strength and Conditioning
Training Program is designed to build speed, power, self-confidence,
determination and discipline.

train smart but have a plan! A successful workout is not measured by
time (quantity) but by the level of INTENSITY (quality.) The Swagger
program will provide that and more!
